In a clear sign of the shifting ‘balance of power’ in the global brewing industry, Chinese beer brand Snow (range) was bigger than the entire German beer market in 2011, according to latest figures released by beer market specialists Plato Logic.

"Headline growth in the world beer market has for some years now been driven by emerging markets and especially China", commented Ian Pressnell, Director of Plato Logic "and now a single brand range has overtaken Germany".
